Adrian location

Chem Gro, Inc. is a full service agriculture corporation seeking an experienced, self motivated and detail oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to facilitate the billing processes and manage accounts receivable functions to ensure timely and precise processing of transactions in our Adrian, IL location.

This full-time position offers a unique insight into the world of agriculture through working with farmers and grain on a daily basis, while maintaining a complex and fast paced environment for those who prefer to work in an office setting. Since we are working in an agricultural setting, some evenings and weekends will be required during the spring and fall seasons.

We are looking for a candidate with previous similar experience in a billing or accounting position, with knowledge of both Google Sheets and Excel. Knowledge and experience of the agricultural industry would be a plus. Compensation for this role will be based upon a number of factors, and we also offer a robust benefits package for all full time employees.

Day to day job duties will vary, responsibilities will include the following:

• Billing services to customers
• Processing payments received from customers
• Process custom application tickets
• Process finance charges to customers
• Run and process monthly statements sent to customers
• Various chemical and fertilizer reporting
• Organize and help facilitate customer and employee events
• Greet and assist customer as needed
• Answer phones as needed
• Backup assistance on grain scales as well as running scales seasonally on some nights and weekends.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Google Sheets & Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail
• Accurate record keeping skills
